I'd pull the fluid from the differentials and X-fer case. Look for metal shavings etc. Sounds like a bearing issue there IMO. I'd bet its in one of the differentials. If diff fluid looks good check out the transfer case.
Thanks, but this is a Getrag 360 attached to a Cummins diesel; NV trans bushings wont work.
Has to have original shifter. I might have to figure out how to pour and vulcanize rubber at the shop, LOL.
I dont have the shifter out of the truck at the moment; still driving it; but; it is very similar to this picture; other picture is from the parts diagram;
Basically the rubber bushing is inside the lower larger diameter part of the shifter, and the shaft that connects it to the transmission...
Hi all, looking for some suggestions on my non-B Body, my 1993 D250.
The transmission shifter (manual) has a rubber bushing isolator built into it.
The material is similar to a harmonic balancer, or spring bushing.
The bushing is shot, and it is made into the handle.
Does anyone here...
