Horrible. Look at pic 42 and 43 - how the trim hangs over in the corners. Half-***. This is the kind of person that cuts a rally hood for a blower, instead of a flat one.
I found a set of block off plates for the 68-69 version a few years ago at Carlisle. I didn’t buy them, despite only being $15.- I figured everyone would add the lights. My friends ‘68 R/T did not have the light package option, or they got omitted on the assembly line.
Instructions are on the label. You need a catalyst for that, do you have it? The answer to your question is Yes, it can be used over bare metal.

You mean between the vent window and the door glass? The vent window doesn't meet the rear glass, LOL. You're talking about the "glass run channel" which is one of the most expensive, troublesome parts of restoring a B-body. Richard and the folks at RPM is your go to for this.

Ok, measuring that way, I have 30 7/16" to the screw hole. I think you're good. You need the gaskets for the horseshoes. They're thick. Looking from the side, I do have a small gap at the bottom inside corner. Pics later, my phone is charging.
I'll get a pic of the center like above. I have one w the end of the tape in the opening, I think my weatherstrip is pushing it towards the taillights.
Yup, shows as E body on AMD's website. When you put in 2nd gen Charger as a selection, the A pillar category disappears. I would call them, see when the next production run is. Folks have cut up 4 dr Coronets for A pillars.
My 69 Charger was built with standard screws. IIRC, the security screws were an option. Not sure. Maybe something about that on the Hamtramck Historical site?

Merry Christmas Don. Unbolted the cover. Big glob of sealer at the latch bracket bottom, but the end is close to the left taillight. Within a 1/2" of yours maybe.
You mean the modified outer wheel houses without the reverse hump or the inner wheelhouse? As I understand it, nothing needs to be modified for the outer one. The inner one needs changes to the trunk and frame rail flange...
