Which part of your system is having the break? You should have a copper loop near the compressor for vibration, the aluminum in the Rapidair may not be as tolerant. The compressor vibration causes fatigue.

Oil fired - clean the fan wheel, and photocell as mentioned above. Do a smoke spot test - if you can find an old timer with a smoke spot tester, LOL.

Varsol is great, but maybe hard to find here in the States.

Whirly-jig is worth waiting for. Quality, attention to detail. I'm not sure how much help Eric has nowadays, his dad Warren retired a few years ago. Back in the day, my swap spot at Carlisle was nest to their spot in row C. Good people.

I want to check the axle housing for true in my Charger. I was going to use 1 1/4 solid shaft and machine a set of pucks out of aluminum. Anyone done something similar? Figured I could use it down the road if I narrow a housing. Any suggestions appreciated.
