Have had Classic for over 20 years. Ice cold. Mine used the old control box, stretched and sloppy cables. New units have an improved control box. Non ac car. Kept us alive in Reno in August many times.
Pro Flo 4 everything but oil pressure. Knew that went south when the “lost” blue towel finally clogged the pick up. Engine rattled like hell. Cut it off and coasted to the side of the 87 Freeway. Motor saved.
Cables stretch. My older Classic Auto Air uses the factory control sliders. It is necessary to push/close the valve near the firewall to make sure that no hot water gets through.
The Charger will be in LA? Jesus Chrysler. The system in mine uses the old cable driven control box. When using the ac, the Valve at the firewall needs a shove to completely close and shut off the warm water flow.
