Be aware that the plyabilty of the clip material is important. The replacements I got years ago from YO are too soft and allow the trim to pull away from the body. Just fyi. Has bothered me since 1988. Different application, but similar.

Difficult to diagnose. Advice above sounds good. My tech diagnosed mine and the creep to hot at red lights subsided. Got a new Hayden. Problem solved. If you have the temp creep up at extended idle, there is a good chance it is the thermal.

Does this era have the bulkhead connector?

Temp: aftermarket. Fuel: Won't go much past 1/2. Amp: disconnected to prevent fire. Oil pressure: near pegged most of time but working. 69 Coronet. Most owners will give the same readings.

Nowhere near you , but I like suds. That Charger in the garage is Bitchin. Whatever you do don't light them up and send us pics.
