They did the same thing on my rag top, I couldn’t believe the radio shop up the road did that and then covered it up with the door cards, and of course a nice set of rear interior panels got hacked too... you will have a beautiful car when done!
I’d be really tempted to mock up something in blue that is close to the color, then see what you think. I personally like white and blue but the blue stripes really sound interesting. Nice work! It’s really coming along well!
