You may want to include photos and include date casting pie wheels and stamped numbers to help folks looking and the pulley part number...just trying to help ya!
Is there a vin stamped on it? Is the car it came from destroyed? An aero car engine could be desirable to the owner of said car. Good luck either way I just like trying to reunite cars like that back together if possible.
Call Dixie restoration and ask Jim if he is interested . I had him build/ restore mine, he is picky but produces top notch results. That being said if it has been thru a rebuilder usually he passes because they ruin the cases. It looks like a good core.
I wonder if that pie wheel date is more of a 71 starter , looks like 070 on the can for assembly date but I’m not for sure. It looks like a solid core. I can’t say for sure if it’s been rebuilt but it’s something to work with I just was curious if it’s 1070 and the one isn’t visible or missing.
Looks to be a nice item, probably been rebuilt as I noticed it doesn’t have the bullseye rear bearing. Top 3 digits are vender code, next row is part number which would match a few numbers on a build sheet, next line is assembly date of the entire unit. I’m more familiar with 1970 units but Jim...
You need to post a pic with the part number on the flat pad, and both pie wheel dates . That will help you sell it as it gives details of the application... good luck!
I don’t think so anymore! I know the sending unit wasn’t and I was told the tanks weren’t. My buddies mom and pop place said since Keystone/ LKQ took over it’s not been the same.
