I would not run a gasket with ANY overhang period. I have used that gasket on a number of 440 plus 060 over the years. Edelbrock/Max Wedge/Product Factory heads and have never seen your problem. I wonder if it is an issue with the casting of the Trick Flow heads? I have never tried them.

You still did a great Job. Congratulations! My strategy is different in Nostalgia racing = I try to hold 1 or 2 and just work the finish like an Eagle especially when I am chasing which you usually are. But there are many ways to skin the Cat. Our Nostalgia racing has totally disappeared out West.

I do not believe that this is an example of an acceptable roll bar in any car faster than 11.50 and that is required to run a roll bar. I do not see any back braces at all in the picture.
