there are a few features with this company I really like, beyond the price - having the ECU seperate and away from some of the heat and/or RFI issues. Plus it appears to be aluminum ECM housing as well.

Yes and some Holleys at one point even came with drilled butterflies (I think the HP, or at least some of them did)
But I still feel with the set up he describes its not needed to drill the blades if everything is working properly. Which is why I feel there may be another underlying issues...
