I am thinking there may be a few things different, that may be for a reason. I picked one up should be here in a week or so. I think I can live with the chrome strip and it was a bit cheaper than a restored one, hoping for the best!
There is a restored dash guage bezel and glove box door right now, a company that restores them is selling the pair. Over $2000 Canadian, $1500 US, I am thinking these replacements are a decent price... 24% off so I think I will grab at least the guage bezel and see if my door maybe matches it.
I did the same thing with my glovebox door, paint turned out great, but those pens are kinda tough to use. A person really has to make sure and get the right size pen for the surface your wanting to work on. It's really not the same as chrome but does look ok.
I am specifically wondering about the 67 coronet, they are totally different. Mine are restorable but I think the cost might be right around the same after re-chroming and painting.
Here's a nice set of caps for a good price, he says not shipping but maybe you know someone in Ottawa or can talk him into it.
I dont know this person but seen the ad a few weeks back, pretty sure they are correct.

My 440 has the fender mounted turn signal lights, I do believe they were part of the high trim package. Standard on the white hat specials I believe. That car is not one of those, so probably a option...
Hello
I am just wondering if anyone has installed the PG classics dash guage bezel in their 67 Coronets? Mine is pretty rough and with the deal on right now I am sure it may be cheaper than restoring the original. It would be great to see one installed if anyone has some pics?
Thanks in...
For shits and giggles I ran the tag info. I am a little confuse on the sales delivery instructions, my car does not show this section but it is a 67. Looks like it did start out as a 383 4 speed car but I know the hemis come with no warranty and looks maybe that was deleted? I think maybe the...
I also think if you are looking at the H under the T on the fender tag in post 126 i believe, that just means it's either a high trim package or a high price package. I do apologize if someone has already mentioned this I just read through this post quickly and haven't researched this stuff for...
I just bought one from partsavatar for $300, ordered their sending unit and strap as well under $500 altogether, napa wanted $600 just for the tank. I just hope Partsavatar can deliver, ordered a tire the other day and woke up to a refund in the morning because they didn't have one, at least it...
Thanks all I figured it was right but I went and measured it just to be sure. Hopefully they do have it in stock like I was told and it's on the way soon, seems a lot of places are sold out but they did say they have it and a new strap.
Thanks again!
Hi does anyone know the proper replacement fuel tank for a 67 Coronet 2 dr hardtop 383 car? I am looking at the spectre premium CR 14, can anyone confirm the fit?
Thanks!
Once a person gets going restoring a 66-67 coronet you kinda wonder why this ain't the most expensive mopar out there.... Its a daily battle searching for parts and you always want to find the best available, but that comes at a cost. BTW some nice front and back rechromed bumpers are available...
