    Bohemian Rapsody

Saw it 3 times, I liked it. Facts and timing were changed around some, but that made a better story line. Basic facts seemed accurate. You know Hollywood, they gotta jazz things up some to sell movies. LOL

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

I flew over the front range into Denver last April, in a 737-700, and encountered severe turbulence. Drinks were flying out of the cups, and the guy next to me was wearing my coffee. It sounded as if a giant sledgehammer was pounding the airframe, with each jolt of turbulence. Never experienced...

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

Interesting article, I hadn't seen that one yet. All of this is speculation on my part, although I do feel there is something wrong with having a computer pitch the nose of an airplane down, irregardless of the pilots control inputs. MCAS is a system installed to do just that, and I feel there...

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

Well, if you Google MCAS, it explains what the system does, and when it is supposed to kick in. I'll try to post a screen shot of a CBS news article that came out yesterday, talks about MCAS. The focus of the crash investigation has been on that area.

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

The larger and more powerful engines on the MAX 8, had to be mounted a little more forward and higher on the wing. This resulted in the aircraft getting into a potential stall condition under full power, with steep angles of attack. (As in taking off). To get an airworthiness certificate, Boeing...

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

Just heard that Trump has announced the grounding of ALL 737 MAX 8 and 9 aircraft until further notice. This, after the rest of the world has already done so, and in stark contrast to what the FAA has been saying, that the plane is safe. Shows how much influence big business has had on the FAA...

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

I guess there's always that chance, but not likely. Why would they choose a new airplane that only crashes on take off? Besides that, security is pretty tight. Not sure how it is over there, though. Hmmmm.....

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

Usually an info page stored on the back of the seat in front of you. Shows the emergency exits, aircraft info etc. Also the flight attendants should know. Dont think I have been on a Max 8, but it was mentioned as coming soon, to Southwest.

Really? I heard it was dropping. When do you think it will go back up? 1 month? 6 months? Thanks

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

Most airline crashes are a result of several factors. This one looks like it may be pilot error, coupled with a faulty or malfunctioning anti stall system. There was also, apparently, a lack of pilot training, as to when to de activitate the anti stall system.

    737 Max Crash

Right. What we do know for sure is that 2 brand new airplanes, of the same model, have recently crashed just after take off, killing all aboard. Whether it's pilot error, or pilot error coupled with system flaws, the results are the same.

    737 Max Crash

I am thinking they are one and the same, but let me do some checking. OK, looks like the 737 MAX 7, 8 and 9 are replacing the 737-700, 800, and 900. So 2 different models. MAX 8 is different than the 737 800, according to Wiki. They are NOT referring to the same model. Just like a Duster and a...

I think something's wrong with the Boeing 737 Max 8

The MAX has more fuel efficient engines than the older ones. Seems that technology is getting so far advanced, that they miss the simple stuff. Like make a manual over ride of the anti-stall, automatic nose down feature. Or tell the pilots what's going on. That would help!!!
