    Racing Insurance and roll cage?

Been in the insurance biz for a few decades. Seen a lot of tough things insured. I would vote for a check in with Loyds of London and possibly Assurant out in Florida. Lloyds is almost like a gambling syndicate in how and what they‘ll insure. They pretty much believe anything can be insured and...

    Comprehensive insurance

Your choice - but i would never use a mainline carrier of any kind to cover my classic especially if its all dressed up. If you want a stated or agreed amount policy meant to cover a nice classic - do yourself a favor and get a company that does that as their business rather than those that...

    Comprehensive insurance

Most classic carriers are going to exclude racing activities. If Haggerty covers it and you need/want it I suggest paying the piper and going with Haggerty. There are many great classic carriers out there that are quite a bit less than Haggerty - Grundy, Condon & Skelly on and on. But Haggerty...

    Your wiring

I put in a new wiring harness for the engine bay and front end. The rest of the car had original wiring - have to admit that always bothered/worried me a bit. I hope the new owner swaps out the balance of it. Wiring always intimidated me and I didn’t want to mess with what worked fine. Thought...

    727or 904

The 727 is a solid trans - you won't go wrong with that one. Don't know much about the 904. Have beat the **** out of my 727 for decades now - rebuilt it once just because I was restoring the car and it was 45 years old, not because it was required.
