67 Hemi 4-speed GTX on BaT

Sorry, maybe it’s just me. - but way in excess of a $100k for a 67 - Not on my watch. 68, 69 hmmmm but a 67 couldn’t do it with someone else’s money …. BTW - I’m not saying they’re not sweet cars, because they are but if you pay that for 67 - what in the heck would you pay for a 68 or 69 or...

    Headers Recommendations

When I refreshed the X I bought Hooker ceramic and they fit well and have held up nicely - price was right. Summit. I know everyone lauds TTIs for many reasons - but you have to pay the piper for those too.

    R/T vs GTX

Let me clear up this debate re: GTX v R/T. The GTX was labeled the “Gentleman's Muscle Car” back when. The trim package was intended to be superior to the other Bbodies in its class. I wouldn’t use the term luxury - because none of them fit that term - but they were indeed intended to be several...

Ok serious question for the crowd.

How much are the emblems being sold here? If cheap enough - buy em and give them to the new owner as either a little bonus or increase the price a little to cover the cost- and let him decide. Would add a little more color to your conversation with him.

    Dads new ride

Yeah I agree with everyone else. I smiled too when I read your post and saw the pic. What a gift that pops is still burning for a project Mopar at his young age. I wish him Gods speed on it and enjoying the process. He’ll probably live to be 103... or more

    67 Coronet Interior

Looks like I’m in the minority here - I would make the seatbacks white. I like a nice white interior and since you already have your dash to offset - my vote is white.....

    Looking for recommendations

I hear that Dr Diff is the way to go from many members. I went with Right Stuff purchased from Summit and had a great experience with them. There’s probably a price difference but I never checked.

    GTX Bumper Jack

Should be able to scare one up on here as several models have the same Jack as the GTX. As noted use the Want to Buy section for posting.

1967 charger winter storage in MN , recommendation?

You don’t have a relative with a garage unit available? Just got off the phone with m buddy up in Columbia Heights. Has a brother in law with semi heated 4 car garage. That’s where he’s storing my old GTX. Sorry no room at the inn. Good luck - it’s tough in MN.

    Re-arching old Mopar rear springs

You have a point with the 67 body style covering part of the wheel. Also right in 68+ being full open wheel wells. Those years look more open. In any regard you have a sweet looking ride.

    Air Shocks

You’ll find almost no one is a fan of air shocks on this forum if you use them for lift of the rear end. They will tell you the shock towers aren’t made to carry that load and will eventually break down. I put “add a leaf” from Summit Racing on my car in place of air shocks. They gave me the 2”...
