I’d push it outside and blow it off with air.
I’d wash it using a very soft brush to get the heavy stuff off instead of a sponge to lessen the likelihood of dirt scratches.
Then I’d wash it with a mit or sponge, using whatever you use on your other cream puff cars.

As for others concern over the safety of it, I get it, and thanks for the alternatives. I'm confidant anyone wrenching on this site has gear head skills, and trust them way more than I would John Q public at Wallmart buying it for his pool...
'GOON, having seen your engine bay now, it might be the one time I'd think going black would cut it. The black-out scheme on your RR would make it look decent - because the body is black on the fenders bleeding into black could look fine.
But I still like going with the body colored engine...
