I purchased these screw in breathers for my MP covers. They are screw in and incorporate a pcv on one and a breather tube on the other. I got these so I wouldn't have to drill the knockouts.

I got a 73' shell that had that bracket laying on the floor. I believe it may be for a hood latch cable but not sure. I needed the shell for framerails & metal to fix the rear of my 71. I still have that clip & it was the same color as the car so I kno it goes forward of the seats.
Good luck.
Always used white lithium grease. Not sure if graphite is a better choice, never tried it. I can guarantee if I used graphite, half the car inside & out would be covered in it by the time is was done!
My uncles 67 Coronet does this. Every year we have to unhook the cable from the back of the speedo & pull the inner cable out of the outer sleeve. Wipe it down & grease it up & slide it back in & its normally o.k. for the season. Done it so many times I can do it in half hour or less. He is...
I purchesed a pre-painted chinese fender a few months back for the wifes car. When it arrived it was covered with baby powder before light foam. Nice touch & kept the new paint nice.
My gas pressure washer has a hose with a particle filter on the end. I use purple power. I put the filter & hose from the pressure washer in the jug& spray the wand to soak everything with the pressure washer off(just water source pressure) & let it soak several hours untill dry. I give it a...
Looks great! Did a similar job on my 71. Except I left the towers & aprons all attached untill after the replacement rail was in. I bolted mine to the bare K & slid it in bolting it to the passenger side as well. I measured a ton but it was pretty straight forward. I did add a 1-2" stitch of...
That one goes on the shaft between the actual flapper & shaft near the cover on the end. It looks like its ready to come of but you'll need to pull the clevis pins that go though the sides of the door that are covered up by the decals. May need to slice the decals & replace them.
I have mine...
Looks like surface rust to me. Id rough it up w/a d/a or wire wheel & a wire brush in the tight areas then give it some 2k epoxy primer w/a brush, especially since your concerned about it..
Pulled these front spring mounts/hangers off a 73 RR for spares on my 71. Didnt realize till they were getting thrown in the blasting cabinet one was an oddball. I lined them up and the oddball is all the way to the right. Anybody gota clue as to what it is from? Too much pits to read a part #...
Agree, and thats what I always thaught it was for. Definitely a 2-door, but the huge sail panels lead me to believe it was for a vehicle with an inset rear window(68-70 charger) but with small quarter windows...
Its been a few years since I tried to research info on this & it may be called "Boar grain", thanks for the reply.
The last few pics(with the grain topside), the top is folded in half. I do believe it is a full top.
Also, as a note- it doesn't have any vinyl accross the bottom of the rear window...
O.k. guys & gals.
I figured I'd throw this up for some of those who may know, or have expierience in this item. It is a green "gator" grain vinyl top. I got it with a huge stash of oddball new, vintage mopar stuff years ago & it is very old(n.o.s.?). I'm unsure if the box is original, or the tag...
