    We had a red Ford Pinto many years ago - maybe a 1970 or 71? It had a trunk rather than a hatchback. Anyway, it was a good little car. We really never had any trouble with it (and luckily, never got hit in the back!!! :p )

    Look at the bright side - you are way ahead of most people that want A12 parts - the air cleaner can be easily swapped once the correct one is found. ...and I promise I won't scoff at your car because of an incorrect wing nut!
