I feel like spring and fall Carlisle are 80% Chevy, 18% Ford, and 2% everything else.
So if you are looking for Mopar stuff, you have to look long and hard to find it. The good news is, if you find something good, you MIGHT get a decent deal.
I have two vendor spots, so I camp on the grounds. Not the most comfortable, but it is much cheaper than staying at a local hotel.
I can't speak for local campgrounds as I haven't stayed at any. There is a campground called AT Campground nearby, but I know nothing about it.
Well that sucks if that is the case. I wouldn't think the tach would be that sensitive unless the voltage was way high. I assume you already checked the wire from the coil to the tach and are sure that is OK?
I am sorry that we were so engrossed we did not chat with you much; being rude and excluding folks was absolutely NOT the intent of the tent - quite the opposite. You know how excited we can get when talking about car topics! Please "butt in" next time and hang out for awhile! The purpose is for...
Congratulations Steve - and you got a personal meetup with Christy Lee!!!
Damn, we still somehow missed checking your electrical - sorry. Just too much going on in my head... :poke:
My pleasure. I am hoping we are starting to get a head of steam to keep us growing and improving every year.
Thanks guys for the pictures - I was too busy and didn't take any!
What was cool was that Carlisle Management stopped by and presented us with a banner as the fourth largest group this year!!!
We've come a long way from trying to scrabble together a couple of guys to meet at the tent!
Thanks...
Thank you!
I have been burning the candle at both ends, so I'm not as prepared this year as I'd like to be. I'll be arriving at Carlisle late today (Wednesday) and will be there at least through Saturday. I'm in spots E45 and E46 (look for the RoadKill Runner!), but I might be walking around...
2022 Chrysler Nationals FBBO Tent Activities
First, the FBBO tent is located at spots IG1 - IG3. From a showfield parking perspective, this is the R127 area (B bodies)
Friday: Noon to 1PM
Bring your own lunch and hang out with other FxBO members. There will be water and beer available to drink...
There are some pictures earlier in this thread, as well as pictures from last year's Carlisle thread here towards the end: https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopa...isle-2021-thread.214102/page-7#post-911891851
FxBO Picnic Details
Folks, sorry for the late posting, but my trip across the country has delayed some of my efforts.
Last year, I held a picnic and requested that people "reserve" their food. I sponsored the cost, but other folks brought some stuff as well. I think the event turned out well...
That's a good point.
The key to what we are trying to do is generate a fun place for FxBO members to hang out. I will try to have some fun/small awards, but the key will be to help build comradery amongst our Mopar brethren. If this were awards for a $10,000 prize, it might be more serious...
Sounds great - thank you!
I am a bit behind with some of the Carlisle planning and posts since I am currently driving across country. But I will update soon and get this rolling as we get closer.
