I have to agree. My wife has a 2013 Toyota Venza. 130k miles I think and still looks and runs as good as it did in 2013. Never had any repair needed either.
I’m pretty much where I thought I’d be. Body and paint was a little less than 1/2 the money. There was almost nothing that didn’t need a lot of work. Maybe about the same money as a premium model new Mercedes.

Yes, two Jeep XJ’ at this address. One heavily modified suspension rock crawler but bone stock 4.0 that still runs great with 280K on it. The other is only 200K but also runs great.
A little over a year here. I stop by once a week. I think that has helped keeping it moving and progress is there most every week little or big. We are down to final finishing the hood right now so should have color soon. All in maybe 18 months. The body shops need the insurance jobs to pay...
