    Thanks for the help on this one, Found a 40 amp inline fuse that was blown in the location of where a fusible link was originally installed. Cause of the blown fuse was a short in my alternator. The insulator on the alternator output stud broke and was shorting to the alt housing.

    Thanks, after looking on line fusible link or starter relay would be my next guess. Is the fusible link in engine compartment or under dash?
