I thought it was a year thing. I don't remember the research that I did when doing the Superbird 20 years ago, but I got the ones with the size. At the time, I had a reason to select those.

15X7 on a 67 Belvedere is a good choice. Tire size that I use is 225 70R 15. I'm not sure now what backspacing on the wheels, but I'm thinking they are 3 1/2 or maybe 4.

Call them what you want. We are all talking about the same thing. It's not a big deal. That's in the parts catalog, but some Mopar advertising differs.

To my recollection the all chrome Mopar wheels were Magnum 500's, and starting in 69 the Magnum style wheels with trim rings were Road Wheels. My 2 cents worth.

That looks like a very early production date and the axle, interior code, and upper door panel color is offset to the left. It also looks like SO# is the beginning of the run. This makes the question of wheel covers more interesting. I would love to see the build sheet/broadcast sheet on this one.

Just going by the WP, I would say full wheel covers 14X5 1/2 wheels. The P is the premium price class, so not likely dog dish caps. Dog dish caps would be on a car with WL. It got 7.75X14 WSW tires which would be BSW tires on a WL car. The only way to know for sure is to have the build sheet...

Both are 70's and I think correct. With tire size.

The best I remember, is the light argent is through 1970, the dark argent is 1971. In 1972 the rally center caps changed completely.

Everyone has pretty well covered it, but I might add that Cooper is the only brand that I have used that haven't blown out sitting or from age. I can't say the same for B F Goodrich, or Goodyear. Every tire that has blown out on me has been replaced with Coopers.
