There wasn't a cast crank in 66 for any stock big block. Everything looks normal to me for a stock appearing 66 engine, other than the color and the intake.
First off 66 Satellites had no hood scoops that year, so anything added isn't original. Personally I like the 67 RO type hood scoops, but there are plenty of options in the aftermarket.

That is the they saw you coming price. I don't think there is a performance difference one way or the other. It's easy to tie open or take the heat spring off and wedge it open if you want it open all the time.
