318 guys- you know your fuel mileage ?

It is directly proportional to RPM and displacement so that is a true statement.

318 guys- you know your fuel mileage ?

Nope mostly open road at 65-75MPH. I never understood how you guys get that milage, to the point I have concluded most can't do math correctly . If you look at the rating for these cars what I am getting is exactly what Chrysler said they should get.

Honestly I don’t think they believed they misrepresented it. I really think they believed the paint was really nice in the places where it didn’t have problems. They were an elderly couple.

    68 Coronet trunk lids

The problem is they capture dust/dirt in that cavity and then when it gets wet it says wet forever. If it was stored inside and not driven on dirt roads then there may be a few in Az.

    Exhaust tip hangers question

Wait a tick they may have the nut clips like the front fenders do..... let me go out in the garage..... they bolt to the bottom of the frame rails and they look flush... I would need to dig out some photos to remember...... I thought it was clear but I may be confusing it with the Duster... It...

    Exhaust tip hangers question

My Coronet frames has the nut welded into the frame rails on both sides even for a single exhaust 318... I just bolted the dual to it.

    Dual heater core advice

My 2 cents. Like you I Had no desire to do it twice. I sent my core to Glenray to have Bob recore it and have him give you the name of the guy in his area to buy a new h valve from. $250 to recore and I forgot the cost of the valve. The aftermarket ones are a crapshoot if they fit or leak.

Vent window Allen key stripped and won't turn

I know what you are talking about. The Coronet had a similar problem. I had a spare metric size that was just a tad larger than the standard. I carefully touched the flats on a grinder and each time tried to drive it into the bolt. It was not that difficult to get it down to the size where it...
