It does lead into the heat crossover doesn't it?.. You would need to plug it, or run on heads with no heat crossover. Otherwise it could affect the performance...

Pic isnt so good and my eyes are shot.... but that looks like a Mopar Perf cross ram. A '63 would have four holes at the carb for the throttle plates, instead of one big one. Has it been machined any?? Maybe a couple more (closer ) pix?? Thx **EDIT** Have to agree with Ski 61701... its not...
