Just installed a pair of 440 Source stealth heads with their head gaskets. I'm using Comp Cams hydraulic lifters with their XE-262H-10 cam. With no pre-load, my pushrod length checker measures 9.200 in. My pushrods measure 9.300 in. Is this too much pre--load. Should I be looking for 9.250in...
On a 69 GTX, if a Dana 60 axle was swapped out to an 8 3/4, would the driveshaft length remain the same? I don't have the Dana available to measure and compare. Thanks.
