I ask this because I had one that at first glance didn’t look as bad as this, but had a lot of flaky rust behind the baffles. I ended up drilling out the spot welds, cleaning up the rust, and welding it back together.
I don't have any history for this car, but hopefully someone can answer my questions from the attached build sheet. Is this originally a power brake car? Should it have headrests? Anything stand out? Especially interested in upgrading the brakes, as they don't operate well. Thanks
I have buffed out minor imperfections in glass using a mixture of 3 parts pumice hand cleaner mixed with 1 part rubbing compound and my buffer. Took out scratches in windshield glass and my wife’s glass dinnerware.
Could someone show me the correct way to stow away the jack mast, fittings, tire iron, and spare in a 69 GTX. I believe I have the correct hardware and jack, but things don’t seem right, and my memory is failing me.
Just solved that issue with my 67 R/T 440 HP. Too much vacuum advance. I had to drop from 24 degrees vac. advance at the crank to 15 degrees at the crank.
