    1969 Roadrunner trying to find

If you've been searching with that, you're missing the "Plant" letter? RM23H9_134484 **Edit: A search revealed your older thread that show it was a Lynch Road car, not St Louis, so.... RM23H9A134484 for the web crawlers. Good luck

    Any one missing a 340 OR166455

I believe that it would be 2 car possibilities *probabilities* then; a Swinger 340 or a Duster 340. A couple conjured VINs for the web crawlers: LM23H0R166455 VS29H0R166455 I ran a search on these #'s yielding no hits. Someone can chime in if this is incorrect, or there are other...

    Any one missing a 340 OR166455

VIN would be on the passenger's side of block just above the oil pan - I believe that's the number you're looking to share? The one you've shown doesn't tie it to any particular car, but does tell us 'what' the engine is.

69 Coronet R/T Track Pack Convertible 252511 Lost 440 block

Shawn, Whenever convenient, could you post a pic of the 252001 broadcast? It could help us various spotters that now have your broadcast (and block) on our radar. It is, by no means, a given that your sheet wound up in 252001, but it is a starting point and would offer other clues to watch...

    Blocks 340:3RorB310349; 400:6C163969

Very possibly not even B-body cars, but posting here to start. All stampings are difficult to read and may not be exactly what I think? These can sit here for a while - at some later date, they'll probably be offered in the For-Sales if their cars never turn up. Bare blocks with main caps...

@cornpicker I tried to send you a message about if you're a member on C-Bodies/posting/selling, but your inbox is full. Mark

Anybody know how to contact Galen ?

I would simply suggest that you go ahead and post the info here first. The "For _ Bodies Only" community is large and grows daily - this is as good a place as any to start. If you don't have success after a couple month, then send them off to Barry if you don't want to hold them any longer...

I found an old VIN plate from a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Body I sold years ago- Help

HP? - yes, that 440 would bear an HP stamp in 69 I believe; in 68, I don't think it did? Both are "Magnum" RS23? R = Belevdere Model line S = "Special" = GTX in the Belvedere line 2 = 2-door 3 = Hardtop (no post) (GTXs were not available in the 21 post body, only HT and Conv.) L96? =...

I found an old VIN plate from a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Body I sold years ago- Help

Agreed on all points - but a Lynch Road fender tag doesn't typically display the engines VIN digit up at the top. (pretty sure all the A12's were built at Lynch?) Re-reading, this is further evidence that it was not an A12 as @Robert Bart states "the last two bottom lines" - a Lynch road tag...

I found an old VIN plate from a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Body I sold years ago- Help

As a "mid year" option - that is why @R413 states "not the right range"...before the availability release. Whether that's accurate, I don't know and defer to his greater expertise. What I can tell you is - IF it was a six-pack car, the fender tag would carry the E63 engine code (for the std RR...

    Looking for engine/trans/docs: 1969 Sport Satellite RP27F9G236952

I think you're correct - and possibly even "narrow" on your bracketing: I don't see any 45x power code in the earlier 3-digit '62-'68 code sets. I don't see the option ("P3_" Top or Pwr Tailgate window) even appear on a broadcast sheet until 1970 (69 only denotes P35 tailgate in a solo slot)...

    Looking for engine/trans/docs: 1969 Sport Satellite RP27F9G236952

Originally titled in Pennsylvania; last titled in Illinois in around ~2000. Now mine in Wisconsin. Incomplete project car; vert top is there. Green/Black/Black Support/Fender/VIN/Trunk/Title #'s all kosher. Original engine and trans MIA....I suppose it becomes GTX-ish as I have a 440/727...

    Looking for my 1970 Challenger

So - did you buy this new or used? If new, ordered or off the lot? Appears to be a base Challenger, not an R/T, correct? Flat hood, yes? Was it built in California (E), or some other plant? What engine did it come with? Transmission? California car with turned-down tail pipe(s)? You...

    (1) 1969 & (2) 1970 383 HPs

Thanks for the info. Whenever I feed the hay out from in front of the rack that the engine is on in my shed, I'll look at the crank for a pilot bearing - for an additional possible clue. I'll go ahead and do a cursory Google on the other Belvedere price classes shy of GTX - probs will be...

    (1) 1969 & (2) 1970 383 HPs

Thanks - I suspected as much, but have never put the time in to try to learn "What" Where" "When". (has anyone built a comprehensive matrix/graphic/chart of this info, that's out 'there' for download?) So - in 1970 - being an orange 335hp "magnum", this would only be in JS/BS 23/27?; - any...
