Install both muffler and resonators. If only mufflers, put them as far to the rear as possible. The further back they are, the quieter your car will be. H 0r X pipes will help even the note.

The instructions probably recommend a mini-starter as that is pretty much standard now. Also there are heat shields available and are a very good idea for hot starts and cause less damage to the starter.
