    as far the "correct" exhaust tip... well, The "correct" ones are as mentioned 2.25" and chromed, then the inner insert is straight tube and welded a cone end to match with outer finish tip. Is more common to find SS tips which are more durable. Some manufacturers makes the inner insert correctly...

    Well, as car I have noticed turndows tips is standard in all Chargers except those with the rear valence with cutouts. These are 340 ( Rallye by default ) and 440... 400 just with 4 bbl on Rallyes I think. All FACTORY machine gun tips are red and models without resonators are for 2.25" pipes...
