    Just to be clear, there’s no such animal per se. Pushbuttons ended in ‘64 and slip yokes started in ‘65. Some level of mix-n-match here.

    Be careful of the cut ring version (what youre looking for). The ring was cast on those and the hole in from the outer edge weakened them. I’ve seen 2 explode. After that I always made sure I had the smooth forged outer ring.

    Also good to notice the “button” in the middle of the clock. There’s silver, gold and black with silver around the edge. I don’t know if they come off to swap.

    I don’t think you want the 4966, that was the 350 HP version with smaller primaries. I believe you want the 4967. 4968 is the same but for A/T.

    Tapered axles only refer to the outer end of the axles, the inner end is the same. This chuck would work fine for you. I have a 741 in Connecticut too if you want it, 3.23 open. $50 just pick it up.
