Anyone here Still play with model cars .

I've been collecting them for years. I figure when I get too old to climb underneath the real thing, I will build them....That is if I can still see all those little tiny parts!

What did you do to your Mopar today?

With the exception of the plug wires which will be cleaned up after it's installed with the headers, I finished up the 500 for my '63 Sport Fury today.

    Anybody recognize these headers?

I'm glad I'm in them cheap, they will be wall hangers in the shop.

    Anybody recognize these headers?

I found these on Facebook Marketplace for cheap. Guy had a bunch of Chevy stuff and this set of "big block Mopar" headers (yes, I know they're Hemi headers) for sale. He couldn't remember where he got them. They are really solid and not beat up with long 3" collectors. Anybody recognize them...

    Henry rifles

I have their Big Boy X Model in 38 spcl/.357 with the black polymer stock. Great gun, it's smooth, accurate and pretty tough. I use it as a behind the pickup seat, on the river, take anywhere gun. And it's the same caliper as my stainless GP100 Ruger pistol.

    Your opinion on Patina?

My thought is to each their own. I have shiny cars but my favorite is my J code GTX. It's on old street racer that was missing it's hemi when we got it. We left it the way we found it, including the wheels and put a new drivetrain in it. I drive the snot out of it and don't have to worry about a...

    What did you get today.

Not Mopar specific but yesterday I picked up a huge lot of hardware, it filled six 27 gallon totes. Grade 5 & 8, stainless, nuts, bolts, washers, screws, etc. It was all the stock from a millwright's shop at an old closed mill. I stumbled across it on Facebook for $300. It's going to take me all...

the first time you beat a set of headers onto a car

1979- Cyclones on my '70 6 brl Road Runner because I thought it would be fun to jump the railroad track crossing and ripped the flange off the ones that were on it along with mashing the oil pan. The stupid **** we did when we were young and our cars were cheap!

    Vintage 50's - 60's Sinclair Gas Station

We used to drive out to Milwaukee to get gas at the bomber when we would go cruise 82nd street in Portland back in the late 70's/early 80's. The B-17 restoration is being overseen by the original station owner's family in Salem, OR. I recently donated this 2 stroke Homelite APU that I picked up...

My pair of 45's Marlin 1893 30-30, made in 1896 and rebarrelled in the 30's. It's still a tack driver. A friend inherited it and his wife won't allow guns in their house so it lives with me now.
