That is normal on a post frame/pole barn style building. Frame it and pour the floor. Can pour before or after steel in put on the outside. Faster and cheaper for large buildings. Edit to add many pole sheds have no concrete floor. Machinery storage and livestock housing usually dirt or crushed...

This is the outdoor pad we did for our corn crib gazebo. Dye in the truck and then 2 different colored release powders before stamping then pressure washed when dried. A sealer was sprayed on after this pic was taken. That really brings out the color.

Here they charge $50 washout fee per load of concrete. I did a stamped and stained concrete project a couple years ago. Had stain that went into the truck and 2 different colored release agent powders to keep the stamps from sticking to the concrete. After that we sealed the floor with concrete...

I just picked uo a new bottle for mine. I asked if it was cheaper to lease a small tank. He said no. Same price for lease no matter the size of the bottle so i got another big one. Check on the lease prices on the tanks. 75/25 here too.

110v or 220v? Amp? Might not be a bad option if you can prep a bunch of welds (screw panels temporarily) and go get the welder for half a day.

Don't some rental places rent welders? I waited and saved and worked my tail off to buy a really good welder. Not trying to put anyone down for not being able to afford a bigger welder.

Personally i would check out the welding supply places in your area. Pay good money for a good machine. Take good care of it and it will always be worth the money you paid for it. I believe i could sell mine for more than i have in it. Ask about demo models...

Have you tested for voltage at the posts? Power Mig 255 here. Buy it once and buy it right.

The newer furnaced dont have a pilot light burning all the time and the burner uses outside air drawn in and vented to the outdoors. To the OP- check the condition of the plenum to make sure its not cracked. I think you have a good plan with the backup heat source and the option to add AC later.
