Keep stashing loose change and any odd money (taxes,rebates,extra side job) you make. It will take a few years depending on how ambitious you are and how bad you want a Mopar. You will get there eventually. Wanting is an excellent motivator.

By all means paint that baby pink!! Thats what makes these cars unique!! The cool and the strange combos is what makes the hobby fun. If you want a different color car buy a different car!

Reminds me of high school! I started with a 69 Coronet also. Transplanted a 440 in and drove it everywhere. Give it a bath and some new rubber (you have room for more tire in the back ;) and go tear up those backroads again!!

2 years in Frankfurt back in the late 80s. I think i made it up your way. Beautiful country that was always clean. Didnt see trash blowing around like you see in certain areas in the US. The autobahn was awesome!!
