    Clutch Safety Switch ?

First off it's a 1 year only part so it's not easily available. The switches are disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and rewired. The metal pieces are also replated. So if you charge $75hr for services that is only about 2hrs or less plus materials.

Battery goes dead, no obvious reason.

I had this situation with our boat. Turns out it was the radio it was always on with a pinkish light. It was wired that way from the guy before me… I never used it as I have SiriusXM and used a Bluetooth speaker…But it would drain a deep cycle battery in a little over a week.

What are these bolted to my firewall?

I would not “rewire” it. I would buy the correct harnesses. All you have to do then is unplug at the firewall. One thing you need to check though since you have an interlock system under the hood my guess someone swapped a 74 harness along with the maybe even the dash wiring. Was your 72 a...

What are these bolted to my firewall?

It's obviously not the right wiring harness as a '72 would not have had it as it was not even used yet.. I would buy new correct harnesses for under the hood since it seems you want to clean up under hood items...
