    1968 Charger Sway Bar Dilemma

Not a dilemma at all. Parts could have been swapped, or I didn't get one. If you want one, put one on. Some aftermarket's hang down too low. I like the factory parts.

    68 hemi charger

What you do is what you have done so far. Nothing. Nobody can get you anything legitimate. It would all be guess work. FCA is for 1967 and older. And the first year for the super trac pack option was 1969, but don't believe me-look it up.

(1969 Charger) Were there any differences (aside from the motor) between the 440 r/t package and the 426 Hemi r/t package?

All the suspension is the same. Sway bar, torsion bars, leaf springs, control arms, and shocks. brakes are the same 11" drum or optional front disc. If it's a 4speed the trans and shifter are the same, bellhousing and starter are different. rear axle the same for the same trans or A34 option.

Can anyone decipher this build sheet

Need a better picture. Square it up in the photo, we don’t need to see the top of the desk. And take the photo straight on no angles.

Got the front fenders hung yesterday

WOW the car looks great! The fasteners look clean, but they stand out too much. What did you do for the other visible fender bolts? And hood hinge bolts? Not something I could do on a stock looking car like yours.

    Steering leak

@dadsbee made a nice step by step post on replacing that seal where the column connects to the box. Power Steering Input Shaft - Seal Replacement he makes it look easy in these photos, but doing it in the car takes some finesse Due to tight quarters. I pulled my seal out with one screw in it...

Establishing a VIN number from the order number on radiator core support

It’s 55 years old now. That core support could have been swapped from another car. If that is a big block k member then how does a small block k member look different? They don’t, they are both the same in 1968. The number on the core support on 68 and older is a shipping order number, it...

    auction, or sell out right?

BAT you send it the photos of your car and wait for them to decide when your car gets listed. could be a 6 month wait. Which is bad. They write up the text for your car which is good.

If you change it all over with a new chassis, it means nothing, other than you cut up an R/T.

    Looking for '68 Charger R/T

Don’t cut up an R/T for this kind of a swap. Just get a plain Jane that needs resto and go with it.

    Body assembly and frame dimensions

Crappy old diagrams? Those are for body shops to pull the car after an accident. They are priceless. The factory manual didn't need to advise you of how to replace a quarter panel, you should already know how to do it. Kinda like telling a rock band how to write a #1 hit song, they already...
