    Anyone take apart an air grabber switch?

    Yep the switch I bought from Dales would eventually open the trap door so one day I spent some time on it. I found that it was leaking bad in open position but would close quickly. If you pushed the lever a slight bit back toward close the door would open right up. Best I can tell it is moving...

    1969 gtx carpet installation (acc brand)

    Yes never seen side to side layout. The rear section gets laid first and the front section overlaps the rear section, no other proper way. The heel pad should spell a starting location for you and then adjust a little here and there. A 69 GTX would have the gas pedal bolted through the edge of...

    How To Change Over To A Woodgrain Rally Dash In A 70 B Body?

    I didn't bring that up myself because he seems to want the upgrade. But if it were me with a Road Runner I would just freshen up the gauges and the plastic chrome if need and call it a day. The Black background is real nice when fresh. Here's a picture of my old 69 Coronet Rally Dash after I...

    How To Change Over To A Woodgrain Rally Dash In A 70 B Body?

    The woodgrain is on a metal backing. That backing has small tabs that go though the plastic bezels and folded over. So if your adding woodgrain to your bezels you have to cut/dremell small slots into the plastic bezel for the tabs to go though. I don't have pictures of the backside but if you...

    How To Change Over To A Woodgrain Rally Dash In A 70 B Body?

    You can modify your dash Black plastic pieces to accept the woodgrain or you can buy everything from BE+A but it is very expensive and his woodgrain is really too light for a 70 and when I spoke to Mike about it he was like "everyone seems to like it ". I bought the woodgrain pieces from him and...

    package tray does not fit

    Anyone have a pair of extra "L" clips??? I'm missing mine. Thanks Ron

    package tray does not fit

    Don't know about a Charger but on a 70 GTX there are two small clips that screw in toward the trunk behind backseat and they are "L" shaped so they catch the front edge of package tray to help hold down flat.
