I'll never have another one. I have had rust issues under several of them. All it takes is one tiny spec of rust to grow into a problem. I actually removed the vinyl top from my current '67 and painted the roof.
I had a similar situation with a 70 Coronet. It was not the windshield in my case. It was the area between the side of the cowl and the top edge of the door just below where you're pointing at in your photo. I'm not saying that that is where your leak is coming from, but it might be worth taking...
I just mind fucked this same issue to death on the trunk panel of my '67 Belvedere. After considering all of the input that I got here on the forum regarding various products that are available; AND the fact that had been really pretty easy to just hit the aluminum astro slots on my R/T with...
I want to refurbish the trunk panel on my '67 Belvedere. The aluminum is cloudy and it will not polish out. Am I correct in thinking that the cloudiness is under the anodizing? If so can anyone recommend a way to strip the anodizing?
Can anyone tell what kind of paint to use to touch up the black accent detail on hood ornaments and emblems? See the attached photo. I want to re-do the black on hood ornament and "PLYMOUTH" lettering on the hood of my '67 Belvedere. My concern is the paint flaking off an account of paint not...
The '70 Coronet/Super Bee has been my #1 favorite car since the first time I saw one in the mid/late 70's at the age of 8 or 9, (it was a B5 4 door Coronet 440 with a painted white roof). I have examined more of these cars on the street, at shows and in bone yards and talked to more owners of...
Have you been talking to my ex-wife? Or maybe dla4567 is my ex-mother-in-law. I would say something and my ex would think I was full of ****. Her mom would tell her the exact same thing... and she would would say to me, "oh, you were right".
That 440 SIX PACK emblem was for a Challenger. It is not correct for a Super Bee. The emblem is too tall to fit on the flat spot on the sides of the pitchfork bulge on the hood.
I have a '70 Coronet R/T with a messed up R/T emblem on the quarter panel scoop. I want to remove and replace it with a new one. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to remove the adhesive / emblem without messing up the paint? It's probably the same emblem on a '70 Charger R/T door scoop.
