No water in the oil and I was way too busy trying to keep it running to watch the rear view mirror.

The O-ring goes around the side of the distributor base in a grove, not the bottom and a little lube on the O-ring will allow the distributor to drop into place.

Early 60’s Plymouth or Dodge is my guess, should have carpeted backs on them.
