Do you have a stock Chrysler distributor or an aftermarket type?
You need to figure out what components you have now in order to ask for the correct parts.
As a general rule.......
Cars that came from the factory USUALLY got 10" brakes on the rear.
But after this many years, they could have been changed to 11"...or had the whole rear axle swapped out for a unit with 11" drums, so always best to measure just to make sure.
Not everything!!!!
As far as sheetmetal goes...our patch panels for the 64-65 Barracuda, inner splash shields for the early A-body, inner splash shields for the 67-69 Barracuda, 67-69 Barracuda rear valance panels, lower quarter patch panels for the 66 Valiant/Cuda, and lower fender patches are...
Our stateside metal stamper does not have the machinery required to make complete factory style full quarter panels that go up to the "C" pillar. We could only do lower quarter patches that would be approx. 65"-70" long and approx. 18"-24" from the bottom edge up.
Doing a poll here can be very mis-leading. It's easy to take part in a poll, but when it comes to actually pulling money outta yer wallet if and when the panels do become available is a completely different thing. We could very easily tie up thousands of dollars in tooling and production costs...
I don't think we'll be doing anything in regards to the 66-67 Ply B-body rear quarter patches in the near forsee-able future.
Even with the interest shown in this thread so far.....it would still be difficult to justify the cost of tooling while at the same time pricing them to be within...
In a nutshell, here's why Mopar parts cost more.......
GM and Ford restoration parts manufacturers and suppliers do receive support from the factory in the way of technical drawings, specifications, and even sometimes tooling. This saves an incredible amount of money when producing a part...
Our 1966 Valiant/Barracuda lower rear quarter patches are approx 67" long by approx. 20" tall. Anything much bigger than that can get really expensive really fast....not to mention the added complications of shipment.
I see there is some definate interest in the possible production of these panels.
I will be watching this thread to see just how many more people will respond with their needs as well.
We have a USA state-side metal stamper we work with who does the patch panels for the early...
