I resent that remark! Cheap metal-whatever that is- has been around forever, the problem is that many companies go abroad without specifying exactly what they want and settle for inferior products. A little internet research is needed on their lazy butts.
Why is nobody thinking that the krill itself is depositing a residue on the cylinder wall, given the red color of kroil? Rust would not be shiny like that.
To me that looks like there is a layer of corrosion scale that spalled off the cylinder wall probably due to what you did to the block. Clean that layer off and then you will be sure of what it really is.
Guys, recently I posted about a stamp on my Hemi engine bottom pad and mentioned the letters "RM" and unfortunately I was wrong. The pad actually starts with "MN" instead. The question is the same, i.e., what do they mean?
Guys: my Hemi engine, 69 roadrunner, has a stamp on the bottom pad that starts with "RM 426, etc, etc,". Does anyone know what the letters "RM " mean? Thank you.
