    I took everyones advice and got the correct rad. Now in the future, I don't have to figure out what combo hoses I used to make the incorrect rad to work. And all are right about the cost of a Aluminum rad. Thanks All Ron

    The stock Radiator has been re-cored not long ago and is in great cooling shape, this is the reason for trying to make it work.

    I put a 440 in my 65 Coronet and tryin g to use the stock rad that originally had a 273. The problem is that the 440 water pump neck is 1 7/8" and the rad is 1 5/8". Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve the different sizes?
