A lot of people don't appreciate these cars and the huge deal they were when new. Everybody goes ga-ga about the dukey edition but don't realize that in 66 these cars were breaking new ground. They were no less exciting than the Rivieras and Toronados.
I think it's well worth restoring. Putting a price on it though is another thing. It has to be high enough that some of the goodies don't get plucked for a later car. You find autos but not 4 speeds.
Unfortunately 66-67 Chargers are like C-bodies. You have to be really careful what you build. You need to find one complete and in as good of shape as you can or you're in too deep right away. That's the reality of it. They're great cars but limited following. If yours is missing key components...
