Just trying to help. How old are your springs? What makes you say they are in great shape?

I'm no expert but my guess would be worn out springs as 33 stated above. Wheel hop on our Mopars is rare because of the spring design when compared to the Furds and Chebys. Stop doing burnouts will solve it as well. :lol:

The cool thing about these cars is that they were made out of some pretty stout material. One can get fairly medieval with the force used to break old rusted threads apart as Dad demonstrated above, without too much worry about damage. If you do f@ck something up, buy new. Name of the game...

I would scuff all sides that don't show, get a good epoxy made for plastic, try to spread the cracks as much as possible to get a little epoxy on the mating surfaces and liberally on the surfaces that don't show then clamp it as best you can. Rubber bands, straps, gravity, whatever it takes. If...

Ok. mis-spoke, disregard them. If you have the time to help re-unite somebody with a build sheet, you have too much time on your hands.

You need to also consider the human factor. Who knows what the guys on the line were doing the day your car went through. One guy could have been going through a divorce, the next guy hung over, the guy after that playing a joke. Find the one that matches the VIN and burn the rest.
