    Thermoquad troubles.

    I've rebuilt many TQ's. In fact, I have 4 units on the shelf now. Don't be afraid to get a rebuild kit, new brass floats and have at it. Pick up a book on it, too. They even reproduce the phenolic bowls, if yours is cracked or damaged. Once properly set up, they are awesome!

    I have the same the carb (Holley 770 Street Avenger ) on my mild 440. Works great and very easy to set up!!
