    1964 fury/belvedere side mouldings

My 64 sport fury has the Belvedere trim and I don’t think I can just swap back. Especially with the front spear versus the curved one on the Belvedere. I’d love to just switch to all original but I think you have to weld the holes and redrill. If you find out otherwise please shoot me a message!

new paint problem, what do you think?

For a really good paint job in my area for a whole car it's about 10k CAD + or - $2k I would say. Paint prices seem to be crazy high in my neck of the woods. That 10k would be for a total job (blocking the whole car, engine bay, door jams, dash, etc). Not sure if I'll ever get to that point with...

new paint problem, what do you think?

The Thing is I would have paid whatever it cost. I didn't bicker price and handed him $600 cash. I would have paid $1000 if that's what he said. More of just the morals of doing the job right and owning up to his mistakes. After seeing your pics looks like I'm trailering the car to your shop...

new paint problem, what do you think?

Ya that's what I don't get. I don't think Harley Davidson dealers would put up with that and those are his main clients. And I've seen other work that was super nice but in this day and age you only have to be an a**hole once.

new paint problem, what do you think?

he said it may have been enamel based and that may have caused it. he also said that a sealer wouldn't have worked any better because his paint was urethane based and so was the sealer. only way apparently was to strip the entire hood and I guess ill save that for when I get the car totally...
