Old and New Fossil Fuel "Relics" do Not fit into "Their" America's future path. We're lucky to have 2 local facilities, within a hours drive. Not NHRA Quality, but keeping them going now. How long ???
If you do not want the height difference, and are not tracking the car, why not install 2 left side springs ? You'll gain some height for tire clearance, if that's what your needs are, but should even out, side to side...

For pulling a rolling car into a trailer, it should work fine, as long as you get a weight rated, sturdy type. I used to crank a 7000# Cuddy cabin onto a roller trailer, No Problems...
I've seen some with a spray on, foam type, but haven't heard feed back on it. I think the bubble wrap type would work well, and cover it with a layer of luan plywood.
