I don't think that's a good idea hanging it that low. The first bad road, or unseen object, will make you regret it. I will keep you posted with what I come up with, this year...

I have to ask, Why do you want to quiet it down ? I drive my Mopars, to hear the sound, and watch people turn their heads, mostly smiling, as they remember those days. I never have a radio on, as that engine beat, is "Music" to my old ears...

The c/o's on my '63 are going to need some fab work, as the frame ties are limiting the out tube clearance. I'm gonna contact TTI over the winter, and try to buy a pair of their flanges. I'm planning on electric cutouts, so I'll probably flange the outlet, to match what's needed ? Open to...

Can you find a local shop that makes systems for your needs ? We had a shop fit our Duster years ago, and was fairly reasonable, and works/sounds great...

I bought my systems through Mancini. I waited for their Holiday Sales, where they offered 50% off on shipping, No discount on product. Not sure if they still have these events, but the shipping on a whole system isn't cheap, especially now-a-days...

Why not lengthen the extension pipes, in front of the X-section, and remove what is needed behind it ? You may be able to use the mufflers you already have.
