Here’s another great sight for led bulbs. They may have something that isn’t the typical bright led that you’re trying to get away from.
Don’t let the name scare you. They have a huge selection.

LED’s take less power for sure and work much better than the old stock lights! But they need their own grounds and their own special relays. They will not work with the old relays in the vehicle. Unless your wiring is in great shape, it wouldn’t hurt to replace with brand new harness. I know my...
I had some really weird crap going on with my car prior to the rewire. I thought with grounds you might get the flicker or the intermittent or not work at all. I got the complete stay on, the weird blink if you could call it that. The engine cut out and a bad ground caused my first mad to...
Completely retired car! Ron Francis kit. Went pretty well! Pretty easy over all!
This is the old!
Regardless which style or kit you go with, get a plan for tear out and install. 1 system at a time! Be methodical! It will pay off when you hit the key and everything works as it should! Good luck!

Ive had some luck trying to find best way to get my hand in there and rolling the plug backwards a few turns. Seems to help seat it and then try to tighten...

When I rewired mine, RF kits stated use the new schematic they provided. I found the old original schematic was very helpful too! Good to compare the differences so you can adjust accordingly!
I used Ron Francis kit to rewire the entire 69. It was very complete and well done. The only thing I didn’t agree with on their kit it it stated use their schematic as things changed over the years. I ended up needing to use both old and new schematics to get the job done. Comparing systems as I...
Did me too until I figured it’s one area per night. I worked on the car Monday’s and Tuesday’s and the rest of the week I studied up and made a plan for following days. That helped with the heartburn, angina and all brain bleeds trying to figure that all out!
