Aftermarket wiring kit - routing ??

I used a Ron Francis kit and ran most everything through the bulkhead connector spot. I removed the bulkhead connector and fabricated a plate to cover with correct size hole and grommet and was an everything that I needed right through that. I really too extra care in grounding the vehicle when...

    Wilwoods with non power brakes

I'm running them without booster, manual. Stops fine. As stated proportion valve is set right. Some will say however that disc brakes should never be run without power booster.. Mine works just fine.

    Shorty hedders on 1970 GTX? Pro's, Con's?????

Not an answer to your question but I wanted to throw this in. I haven't installed any shorty's. Just went through a process of picking headers for my 400 stroker build. The one thing I kept finding with shorty headers was they were all rated for lower hp. Nowhere near the hp I would have...

    The Willomet Charger

Great thread! Great progress! Awesome job. In response to your "quick vent" If you were here in Maine, you couldn't even think about leaving those panels bare for too long with all the humidity, they would rust without even looking at them. Keep up the great work

Oh boy, here we go, back on track!

I have been looking at the Edelbrock rpm heads. They were my first choice. But when I started looking at them and the roller cam and matching them up, then looking at the port work that the stealth Cnc heads had done (not the regular stealth or super stealth) plus matched well with the crane...

Oh boy, here we go, back on track!

Oh I'm going to build it! You build it, it will go (I hope). According to 440source, with their Cnc heads at about 80cc, that comp cams 571, with the 400 block and stroker kit....he said north side of 600 hp. We will see. I'm not going to expect that much but I bet it's close..

Oh boy, here we go, back on track!

I have to get back on track.. Spending a little too much time watching and occasionally posting stuff in the political forum that it's time to get back on track! Ordered the stoker kit from 440 source for my 400 block! I was originally thinking the 471 kit but after more thought I pulled...

I guess my mind was thinking the worst when I read the title. Pleasantly surprised on the "sick" Charger. It looks like a fantastic build!

what carb should i use on the new 496 stroker eng

There could be a few options for you. My recommendation is spend the bucks and buy new no matter which way you go. This could get costly though until you find the right combo. I'm running an 850 Holley on my mildly modded 383. It doesn't pull good in early rpm range but I haven't found top end...
