Not sure about earlier cars but on 71-74 low line cars that didn't get chrome drip rail trim, there is a special part that gets crimped over that gap. The gap on those cars is farther forward, almost right at the bend to the A pillar.
Most 4 door rear bench seat bottoms are curved for rear door access.
Not sure if they will fit where a 2 door bottom goes.
The top should be the same.
Personally, I'd wait.
Small block 3 speed manual cars were column shifted from 66 to 70. Floor shifter not available! 4 speed not available! (that's a big WTF IMO)
Not sure about 65 and down.

No pics. Sorry.
It was sensory overload in that shop.
He also had an FWD John Deere model I've never seen and a 70's three wheeled honda goldwing powered fiberglass kit car among other things.

Small rust hole and dent on bottom of pass side quarter.
Dent and bondo repair in pass door.
Small dent right at corner of pass fender.

Hi, all.
I'm mainly a 66/67 and 71-74 guy.
There a project 65 Coronet near me that looks pretty solid from pics I've seen.
I'm going to look at it tomorrow after work.
I know 62-65 can have cowl issues. Are there any other common problem areas I should pay extra attention to?
Thanks.
