Reviving my first car - 66 Plymouth Belvedere 2

Carter BBD. Pull it off, look inside, get a kit. ...and some varnish remover/cleaner. Check the sister site ForABodiesOnly. Most A body cars came with 273/318 engines.

Moving with a rusted front frame

Put a block that's slightly taller than the distance from the frame to the trailer under the front jacking point in the diagram above and strap it down so the block won't move.

Moving with a rusted front frame

What does the other side look like? Is there an engine in the car? I had a 66 Coronet 4 door parts car with frame rust in the same area. Inside and bottom were gone. Top and outside were still there. I drove that car. ...and it drove good. No steering issues or odd noises.

Jacking points and jack stand points 1975 Fury

Center of K frame is a great place. I like to put stands where the trans crossmember meets the front frame horns, or just ahead of that.

Front backing plate removal 1966 Satellite

Shouldn't need to remove the backing plate to replace the wheel cylinders. ...but jack stand under frame horn, jack under LCA...

    1968 Plymouth GTX, frame off resto.......Really ??? Again ???

Even other gm divisions used different terminology. My '66 olds had an "anti-spin" differential.

    1968 Plymouth GTX, frame off resto.......Really ??? Again ???

Technically possible, if you consider four separate parts to be a "frame"... ...but highly unlikely in 99% of the cases.

I've had good luck with Nason's Full-cryl II single stage.

    Door Hinge Rebuilding question

3/8" bolts with long shoulders is the old school way we did it before bushing kits or any other methods were commonly available.

Another 4 speed AC car. One just shoed up on FABO. ...and both 2 barrel cars. Curious. You don't see those every day.

Paint color coverage..good vs bad ?

What's wrong with Turbine Bronze? How does the OP's color compare? My YY1 "medium bronze" in Nason's "Full-Cryl III" covered pretty well. IIRC three coats.

    1967 GTX Fender Tag

66-67 Charger source guide is the best online 66 and 67 tag decoder. However, it only lists things that could have been on a Charger. Better than nothing.

    1971-72 air grabber help

I LOVE those scoops. Great design, both aesthetically and functionally. Too bad they only used them on Demons and Dart Sports. They look right at home on almost anything. Mopar design studio's version of the ubiquitous "snorkel" design. ...but more classy.

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

20K in today's market for a truly rust free 440 4 speed R/T is not bad. If I were closer I might bid against you :poke:

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

OK, probably not a blue stripe with a copper int.

Trying to Decode a 67 RT Fender Tag and Certicard

Well, it's an R/T, so yes it's a 440 car. White with a blue stripe and a red interior would be cool. I'd look at Source Guide It's the best online 67 tag decoder available despite not having stuff that wasn't available on a Charger.

    What’s a Belvedere?

I don't believe I ever called her "Belva, dear". That was the way old people talked.
